REAL Building Consultants uses it’s own tagline that directly intersects with the triple bottom line:

Helping create RESPONSIBLE, EFFICIENT AND HEALTHY places where we live, work, learn and play.

Our team deeply believes in the Triple Bottom Line and the related benefits that integrating sustainability have on an organization, it’s employees, the financial bottom line…and yes, the environment.

Per the Economist:

The phrase “the triple bottom line” was first coined in 1994 by John Elkington. His argument was that companies should be preparing three different (and quite separate) bottom lines.

One is the traditional measure of corporate profit—the “bottom line” of the profit and loss account.

The second is the bottom line of a company’s “people account”—a measure in some shape or form of how socially responsible an organization has been throughout its operations.

The third is the bottom line of the company’s “planet” account—a measure of how environmentally responsible it has been.

This statement touches on the Environment (Responsible), the Economics (Efficient) and the Social (Healthy) impacts of the built environment, and drives our mission to make the places we interact with as humans, businesses and communities become stewards of our overall well-being.
