Taylor Ralph is the Founder and President of REAL Building Consultants, LLC—a firm focused on helping clients create responsible, efficient and healthy places. REAL specializes in providing comprehensive, technical sustainability consulting services that help create high-performance, innovative and sustainable projects for building owners, developers, and design/build teams.

Taylor is the current ULI Tampa Bay Sustainability Committee Chair, was the 2016-2017 Chair of the ULI Tampa Bay Trends Conference, and is currently Chair of USGBC Florida Gulf Coast, Board Member of the Gasparilla Music Festival and a member of the University of Tampa Board of Fellows.

Prior to founding REAL Building Consultants, Taylor was co-founder and Vice President of REAL Building Group – a residential and small-commercial design/build firm specializing in high-performance and sustainable projects – where he consulted on various LEED Platinum and net-zero energy projects. Early in his career Taylor consulted with the Midtown Alliance in Atlanta, GA and worked for a real estate digital agency specializing in master planned community branding, sales and marketing.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Florida, with a minor in Business, and went on to earn a Master of International Business from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida where he studied sustainable business models and strategy.

Taylor resides in Tampa, FL—his hometown—with his wife, Caitlin, and two sons. He enjoys bike riding, travel, live music and exploring sustainable development opportunities throughout the Southeast. He is also a frequent speaker and guest writer on topics such as environmental and energy performance, sustainable urban development issues and building healthy places.

Lis Christie                                                                             Senior Project Manager                 NCIDQ, LEED AP ID+C, WELL AP, Fitwel AP

Lis brings a sound understanding of material selection, construction process, human factors and sustainable interior design to REAL. Lis has experience working on many large project pursuing LEED, Living Building Challenge and WELL Building certifications.

At REAL Lis focuses on helping clients meet and exceed their building performance goals—at the utility, human and environmental performance level. Working as a designer and sustainable strategist in New York City and Melbourne, Australia has propelled Lis’ passion for both the art and science of space.

She has a Bachelors of Science from Cornell University in Design and Environmental Analysis and a Masters of Professional Studies in Sustainable Interior Environments from the New York School of Interior Design.

Steve Young                                                                                Building Commissioning Authority                                              LEED Accredited Professional

Steve has headed up REAL’s Building Commissioning practice for over 10 years. He is a certified Commissioning Agent (CxA), a Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) and a LEED AP with 40 years of experience designing and implementing commissioning plans for a diverse variety of industries. Steve and the Cx team provide vast technical knowledge of building systems, functional performance and maintenance issues for our clients. He has significant experience in sophisticated district chiller plant connectivity and functionality.

Jennifer Berthelot-Jelovic heads up REAL’s Wellness Real Estate service group, and is one of the first WELL AP’s in the world and has worked on Pilot WELL projects for Education, Tenant Improvements, New Construction, Core & Shell Compliance, and Multi-family; as well as working on all three standards of WELL v1.0 development with Delos, the creators of the WELL Building Standard. As an expert in the WELL Standard, Jennifer is often a Consultant for Delos and the International Well Building Institute. She is OSHA 30 certified, a LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP Homes and WELL AP.

As a Sustainability, LEED, and WELL Consultant; Jennifer has extensive experience with the USGBC’s various LEED rating systems including LEED New Construction, Core & Shell, Commercial Interiors, LEED for Schools, Retail, LEED for Homes and more.

Sean Baraoidan                                                                            Project Associate                       LEED Green Associate, EcoDistricts AP

Sean brings his knowledge of city-scale urban planning to the REAL team, adding value to our district, neighborhood and campus-scale projects. He helps manage our existing building services, urban agriculture and community sustainability & resiliency. Sean has his Masters in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of South Florida, is the current USGBC Tampa Bay Chair, and the Florida Sun Coast APA Young Planners Group Ambassador.
